Dr. David Hamilton

David has a first class honors degree in chemistry, specializing in biological and medicinal chemistry. After completing his PhD, David worked for 4 years in the pharmaceutical industry developing drugs for cardiovascular disease and cancer.

Working in drug development exposed David to the placebo effect, so he commenced studying mind-body interactions in his spare time. Fascinated by the placebo effect, how people improve through believing they are receiving a drug, steered him towards the next phase of his career.

David decided to leave the pharmaceutical industry as he wanted to write and speak about the mind, our abilities, and to assist people in believing in themselves to a greater extent.

David is now a bestselling Hay House author of seven books and a compelling speaker. His talks and workshops use science to inspire, fusing science, the mind, and spiritual wisdom.
